Wondering in the darkness,
Within the never ending void,
Came a brightness of salvation,
Of shadows to light,
Black to white,
But....
Alas the spectrum departs,
Abandoning the once glory;
Pitch black restores,
Sight to blindness,
Yet..
Hope remains,
Like the hope of life itself,
That one day the synergy of lights,
Will return to shed the dark shroud,
That is the shadow,
Shadow that received light,
Shadow that is now deprived of it,
That is,
ShadowLight

Complicated
Things are starting to heat up a lot. At the rate things go I may not be able to "get" anything done till after May.
Dang I'm starting to be the king of procrastination again!!!
Not only that, if what I've forseen will come to pass, working won't be as simple anymore as new variables will be present in the equation. New variable that have a very high cohesion with the other current ones.
Time will tell and god will decide.
With my hand ,
My hands can't put everything together,
Which of us was pretending to be grown up?

And lastly, Oil and gas engineer in his makeship home for the next 9 months. The only release from the everyday "drama" is a laptop with satelite connenction to the internet and the occasional phone call out. Of course if you ever wanted to be an army engineer, probably "Project Iraq" would be the best way of fulfillying that dream. Sounds tempting and exciting, but the reality of putting your life on the line eventhough they will convert my pay to USD and maybe quadruple it is still an unfair offer, after all life and body parts are irreplacable.
As controversial as it seems, during the recent Iraq war, my company deployed engineers with the US army at strategic fueling depot point to facilitate the war and ",make flow the oil" . Picture is one of the Engineers during the war (the scariest part you can't differentiate the real US army combatant from the engineer just doing his/her job)
Next is a scene of company contractors or "soldiers" hired by my company to protect the refinery in Acheh. I heard from a colleague who actually been there that the glasses of the building are bullet proof and a tank is actually stationed near the compound. He said sometimes potshot from rifles are heard once in a while.
OkayyYyyYy part of parcel of being in an oil and gas company is that some of my colleagues put their life on the line everyday . Picture is an example of Altona refinery fireman team. Among hazards they face if an "accident " occur are Fire, Legionaire virus , Acid and sulfuric gas depending on the situation

Feeling really shitty now.
Once a while I get into this really stupid thick mess that I always feel angry about. It is not something I can't do, it CAN Be DONE but it is very tedious ,time consuming and the worse thing shouldn't be done by me alone or not even should be done by me . $#^#$^$#%#@TWRTGREY#@%R!R. Yes it is a One man show again. I'm getting really sick and tired of being my own castle just to get things done!.
Dang Again! UGhhhhhhh

Schmuck now Im really a senior.
Let me tell you something 2 years back I was the most junior and youngest of a team of 6. Today I'm the most senior member and experience (in term of company years) after my boss of the team of 13. Now what happened to the rest of the people in between? go figure while I figure out how to train the newbies. AGAIN.

One other perks of working in an oil company is that they sponsor tons of stuff, Olympics, F1 race and yes even the Malaysian Philharmonic orchaestra. A week before I had my "poisoning" 10 of us staff got free tickets at the most expensive seat at the orchaestra. The front row of the center segment!! WOOT usually worth Rm200 bucks! . Attach is a pic of the Philharmonic hall in KLCC . No F1 ticket yet, maybe next year.
OK finally got some official pics that are for the public of the refineries I"ve worked in Altona. At night it seriously looks beautiful with all the lightings and etc. AKA Mount Doom from Lord of the rings (especially when the main chimneys is discharging extra gas by burning it). Don't let the beauty fool you, the refinery is still as dangerous at night if not more as in day time. If not careful you can lose your life being at the wrong place and at the wrong time!
