The Line of Happiness
How do we balance between being selfish and selfless?Where do we draw the line?Is it possible to be happy for someone, but unhappy for yourself?
When your loved one is happy, we share the joy. We're glad they've found greater joy in someone else, yet somewhere deep inside, being human, we silently kick ourselves for not being the source of happiness.
Where do we draw the line, where do we draw the line?
~~~~~
"So where do we draw the line?
Whumm I guess this kind of questions can only be answered by a nonchalant answer, such an answer from a romantis as me.
answer: "As the world falls down" is my answer.
Here's an excerpt from a David Bowie's song
:As such a sad love
Deep in your eyes a kind of pale jewel
Open and closed within your eyes
I’ll place the sky within your eyes
There’s such a fooled heart
Beating so fast in search of new dreams
A love that will last within your heart
I’ll place the moon within your heart
As the pain sweeps through
Makes no sense for you
Every thrill has gonst
Wasn’t too much fun at all
But I’ll be there for you-oo-oo
As the world falls downFalling(as the world) falling down
