Well the title says everything,

Great Expectations


Whumm there always comes a time where humans are never satisfied,
I myself with my meagerof about 2 decades worth of human years have expereinced this more than twice.

You have the drumstick but you also want the Wing once you got it, If you get either one or both, you compare the part (may it be wing or drumstick) to parts of similiar type that is bigger.

That is happening to me now, that is now in my life. It's funny actually especially when you see other people have the same type but bigger cut than you. A kind of sickening envy that is deplorable and despcicable, most of all to people of my stature or at least what I strife to be.

Being mortal is aBOUT life. When you have the bigger portion you don't realize it, until you get the smaller portion. Even then in another context the smaller portion may demand more on the "eater" than the bigger portion of the other part to the other "eater" (yes the eater with the bigger portion0

Cryptic isn't it. But I guess some of you who went through the same parth as me will understand, and for those who don't in due time, maybe not through this blog but of another expereince.

The reunion of Kentucky in Malaysia

It was short and sweet, in a chinese restaurant were all the old players that brought flashback of the bars in Lexington.
There was the programming buddy now astrophysicist phd student, the bah kut teh boy now a production engineer, Pu boh the pig now the chicken seller and the shy gal now a finance officer and me the loud mouth (no explanation needed).
Many a remiscene of the past, of how everyone is doing, of events of yesteryears , of how fat we guys had become and how the gals still look the same, of how everyone now is either working , pursuing their postgraduate degree or heck married (and it's always to a foreigner)
Ahh the good old days in sunny cowboy lexington where colonel sanders and his secret recipe or would I say her (claudia sanders his wife actually discovered it) is a legend and part of history itself.
